Daytime Circle schedule – No Meeting in September
In August, we missed the chance to visit with Paster Allen due to illness. We will attempt to reschedule him for Oct. 8, 2024. We will NOT meet on September 10 because too many of us will be gone that day.
Cimarron District UWF Meeting on September 21
The activity for September will be to encourage members to attend the Cimarron District UWF Annual Meeting in Alva, OK. on Sept. 21, 2024. It will be a fun carpool opportunity, and this will be the LAST Cimarron District Annual meeting as we will transition to the West UWF District on January 1, 2025. Registration forms for the Alva meeting can be found at the UWF table in the narthex.

Bowling for Missions Night was a Success!
Thank you to the wonderful group that participated in “Live Bowling” on August 25, 2024. A fun time was had by all while supporting these important mission areas:
Criminal Justice and Mercy Ministries (CJAAM);
Neighborhood Services Organization (NSO)
Cookson Hills Indigenous Center
Action Associates Women’s Shelter in Clinton
Circle of Care
Lotion Project for Corn-Weatherford LTC patients and FUMC-GEMS (Giving Elderly Methodists Support)
Skyline Urban Ministries; and Wesley Foundation Meals.
Bowling for Missions
Live Bowling has ended, but you can still participate as a Phantom Bowler!
Phantom Bowling
Help support our bowlers and raise money for missions by being a Phantom Bowler. Commit to donating a certain amount for each spare or strike a particular team gets during our live Team Bowling session on August 25th. Below are the suggested contribution amounts:
$10 per spare, $30 per strike, $100 for 10 spares, and $300 for a perfect game.
Anyone who ends up phantom bowling at the $100-level is eligible to receive a t-shirt. Let Faye know your shirt size. Phantom Bowlers can participate through September 18. Make out checks to Weatherford UWF.
Contact Faye Henson if you have questions.
